Honorary Advisor

Dr Poon is a retired oncologist. She was formerly the Chief of Service at Clinical Oncology of Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She has been one of the longest serving Executive Committee members of the HKACS since 1984. She served as our Chairman in 2004-05, and Vice-Chairman in 2015-2007. She was awarded an OBE for her contribution to the medical field and community in Hong Kong.

While she has had a very successful professional career as a leading oncologist in the public sector, she also accomplished just as much in her “parallel career” as a singer of classical music. She is well-known as FooFoo in the music circle and had never stopped appearing in charity concerts dedicated to raise fund to support works of HKACS & other charities.
